Paper snowflake templates

Fold a square of paper into twelve layers, lay the template on top, and cut away the gray parts. Each sheet shows what the snowflake looks like unfolded, worked out by mirroring and turning the wedge the way the folds do.

Every template was checked so the snowflake stays in one piece: none of the cuts slices through the paper completely. Thin paper cuts easiest; printer paper works if you fold it firmly.

Snowflake 1

Cut away the gray.

Fold that triangle in half.4. Fold it into thirds, like a fan, around the center point.5. Trim the top straight across.6. Lay this wedge on top, point to point, and cut away the gray.7. Unfold.
