I build Rainypad: the code that makes every sheet, and the checks each one must pass before it is published. This page says what I do, and what I am not.

What I do here

I wrote the code behind every sheet on Rainypad: the puzzle and maze generators, the worksheets, the calendars, the maps, the craft templates, and the tools that make new ones in your browser. I maintain all of it.

I also wrote the checks, and they matter more than the generators. A sudoku is published only if a solver proves it has exactly one solution. A Hard or bigger maze must have exactly one route. The federal holidays on the calendars are checked against the schedule the Office of Personnel Management publishes. A crown template is measured against the head size it states. When a check fails, the sheet is not published.

What I am not

I am not a teacher, an illustrator or a mapmaker, and nothing here should be read as if I were.

The coloring pages and drawing lessons are not my drawings. They are adapted from Google's Noto Emoji, which is open-licensed, and turned into outlines by the same code; the step order and the step captions are mine. The maps are drawn from Natural Earth and US Census Bureau data. The sight word lists come from the published Dolch list. Every source is on the credits page.

Where a worksheet names a grade, it is a guide to difficulty, not a claim about any school curriculum.

My background

I work in digital marketing, and I have spent years publishing structured, checkable information. That is what this site needs: sheets that are right, checked by something stricter than a glance.
